Terms and Conditions

1. Scope and Contracting Party

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the provision of coffee tours, tastings and the rental of accommodation at Finca Los Castaños, Agaete. The contracting party is AGAMOG INVERSIONES SLU, Camino de Los Romeros, s/n, 35489 Agaete, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (CIF: B21690888), hereinafter referred to as the 'Organiser'.

2. Coffee Tours and Tastings

2.1 Conclusion of Contract and Payment

Tours can be booked online, in writing or on site. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by the Organiser. Prices include the statutory Canary Islands tax (IGIC). Payment is made according to the chosen payment method before the start of the tour.

2.2 Health, Allergies and Intolerances

Duty to inform: The participant is expressly obliged to inform the Organiser before the start of the tour or tasting of any existing food allergies (e.g. caffeine intolerance, lactose, nuts, gluten) or severe allergies to insect stings (bees/wasps).

Tasting liability: Participation in the tasting of coffee, coffee cherry tea (cascara) or served snacks is at the participant's own risk. As this is an agricultural operation, cross-contamination with allergens cannot be completely ruled out.

Health notice: Due to the natural caffeine content of the products, persons with cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure or pregnant women are advised to check their consumption on their own responsibility and limit it if necessary.

2.3 Tour Cancellation

• Up to 3 days before the tour: cancellation possible.
• Less than 3 days before the start or no-show: 100% of the price is due.
• Non-refundable rates do not provide for any refund in case of cancellation.

3. Accommodation Rental

3.1 Reservation and Deposit

A reservation for the accommodation only becomes binding upon payment of a deposit of 25% of the total price. The remaining amount will be automatically charged to the payment method on file 14 days before arrival. The guest must present a valid identity document for police registration at check-in.

3.2 Check-in and Check-out

Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM. Different times possible by prior arrangement.

3.3 Accommodation Cancellation

• Up to 30 days before arrival: 75% of the total price will be refunded.
• 29 to 14 days before arrival: 75% of the total price will be retained.
• Less than 14 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total price is due.
• Non-refundable rates do not provide for any refund in case of cancellation.

3.4 Deviating Conditions for Bookings via Third-Party Platforms

For bookings made through external platforms (e.g. Smoobu direct booking, Bokun, Booking.com), different payment, cancellation and refund conditions may apply. In such cases, the conditions of the respective platform at the time of booking take precedence over the conditions stated in these Terms. The guest is asked to review the platform-specific conditions before completing the booking.

4. General Provisions for the Finca

4.1 Safety and Clothing

The Finca is a working agricultural operation. Entry is at your own risk. Staff instructions must be followed. Leaving the paths is prohibited. Sturdy footwear is mandatory for walking through the plantation.

4.2 Disclaimer of Liability

The Organiser is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty. No liability is assumed for allergic reactions or health impairments resulting from the tasting, provided the Organiser has fulfilled its duty to inform and there is no gross negligence.

4.3 House Rules

• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas.
• Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
• Plants and fruits may not be damaged or harvested without permission.

4.4 Image Rights

Photos for private use are permitted. Commercial use of images of the Finca requires prior written permission.

4.5 Final Provisions

Spanish law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
